The event started with Anju Modi’s exquisite Indian collection named ‘Devi’ consisting of her designs inspired from the Bengali culture. The collection spoke about the true Indian tradition with the fabric as well as the designs. The garments used fabrics like cotton, muslin and tussar, and the models walked down the ramp in their multilayered lehengas along with beautiful long jackets. The ethnic flavor of the collection was enhanced by the projections showing the riverside of Kolkata. The major highlight of the evening was a part of this collection, Madhuri Dixit. She graced the ramp wearing a beige lehenga and sporting her evergreen smile.
Next in the line was Manish Arora, he displayed his futuristic eclectic designs, speaking of all his best works over the past five years.
